NEW - 2-day Winter Skills weekend course
Aviemore, Scotland

With Rob Wymer, Winter and International Mountain Leader & Buxton Mountain Rescue Team member
Assisted by Mark Reid

An introduction to Winter Skills for hillwalkers, based at Aviemore in the stunning Cairngorms, Scotland.

Walking in the British mountains in winter is one of the most exhilerating outdoor experiences you can have. The Cairngorm National Park provides the novice winter hillwalker with hills and mountains that are accessible and achievable, and offers the perfect area to learn and practice winter skills. That said, the Scottish mountains in winter are potentially hazardous - having the right equipment coupled with winter hill skills is essential.

This 2-day course will give you the skills and judgement needed to become a safe and competent winter hillwalker.

  • Tea/coffee both mornings
